Today I was honored to lead a rich discussion with the International Executives Group [IEG]. IEG members are senior level executives who have held significant global positions. Ten years of international experience is the minimum. Most members have lived globally for a significant part of their careers and speak more than one language fluently.
Attached is my presentation [with notes pages] used to facilitate a lively discussion among these folks about the ‘Battle for Brainpower’ series of articles on the current and future state of global talent in the October 7th issue of The Economist. This presentation also includes one of my favorite Chinese proverbs:
I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.
Thanks to the members of the IEG for the privilege to engage. Enjoy. Download 20061113_ieg_mtg_final.ppt
