THREE Lessons Learned from Planning and / or Implementing DEI

  1. DEI means different things to different people. Take the time to define and ensure everyone understands these terms, their importance and their value.
  2. Changing biases does not happen overnight. Be patient.
  3. It is equally important to celebrate both the large AND small successes along your company’s DEI journey.

TWO DEI Resources (e.g., Tools, Training, Experts, Sites, Forums) You’ve Found Highly Useful

  1. CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion(website)
  2. The Forum on Workplace Inclusion(website)

ONE Question You’d Like Your Peers to Weigh In On

  1. If you are being asked to tie your DEI efforts to business outcomes or to create any metrics to support your DEI efforts, how are you doing so?
